Embracing Hearts, Empowering Lives: Ready Step Initiative's Journey in Ghana

We’re excited to share that The Ready Step Initiative has launched a few heartwarming projects in Accra, Ghana, that are really making waves in the community.

Our Executive Director recently visited an orphanage and a village nearby, bringing with them not just supplies, but a message of unity and support. RSI brought them clothes, toiletries, school supplies, as well as a monetary donation to show that we stand with them.

She really connected with the people of Pramkese Village sharing in their traditions and daily life—from honoring a beloved village queen to joining the community for Sunday worship and dining with families. Their spirit of welcome and resilience has truly inspired the heart of RSI's mission.

We also addressed the often-neglected area of menstrual health by providing necessary feminine products along with packs of brand new undergarments. We're furthering this effort with a commitment  to send supplies regularly helping women and girls stay healthy and confident.

Connecting with the community on a personal level—whether at a local funeral or breaking bread with families—our leader saw firsthand the incredible resilience and spirit of the people. It’s this spirit that's driving us to keep the momentum going.

As we gear up for our return trip next year, we’re not just hopeful; we're energized. This isn't just a campaign—it's the start of a deeper commitment to nurturing lasting change.
